The Art of Self-Propaganda
Let's talk about propaganda -- but not the kind you see on billboards or in the news.
I mean the kind you create for yourself.
The kind that programs your brain to work for you, not against you.
Last year, in the middle of a busy spring, I had a great challenge to tackle.
I was months away from organizing my first retreat, but my mind kept drifting into those "dark side" thoughts:
What if it doesn't work? What if people don't come? What if I'm not ready?
Then one morning in May, I tried something different.
I imagined myself in the future -- retreat completed, everything having gone exceptionally well. I pictured the smiles, the laughter, the teamwork, the way people were still talking about it months later.
And then I spoke into reality.
I recorded a 5-minute audio of "future me" telling "present me" exactly how it all happened -- the details, the feelings, the results. I described it so vividly I could feel it in my body.
Every morning, before teh world was awake, I sat in the quiet, closed my eyes, and listened. Five minutes. That was it.
The result?
By the time the retreat came, my brain was already wired for success. My energy, my focus, my decisions -- they all matched the story I'd been telling myself. And the retreat turned out exactly as I'd imagined… maybe better.
Here's the process for you -- so you can use it to accelerate your progress and lock in the improvements you've already made in your care.

## Neuro-Priming Audio Tool -- How to Use It
Purpose: Align your conscious mind (5%) and subconscious mind (95%) so they both work toward the same goal.

### Step 1 -- Choose Your Goal
- Pick one very specific outcome you want in the next 3--12 months.
- Example: "My 4th and 5th fingers move naturally, precisely, and powerfully when I play the cello."
- Aim higher than "normal" -- imagine it exceptional.

### Step 2 -- Script Your Future Self
- Imagine you've already reached your goal.
- From that future point, describe:
- What you can now do
- How it feels in your body
- How it has improved your work, play, or daily life
- Use pen & paper first. Write freely, make notes, even small drawings to clarify ideas. Use AI tools to accelerate the process and improve the quality. Always keep in mind, you are the curated.

### Step 3 -- Record Your Audio
- Speak as your future self talking to your present self.
- Be detailed and emotional -- aim for something that makes you smile, laugh, or even cry.
- Record 3 versions (5 minutes each), then combine the best parts into one final track.

### Step 4 -- Listen at the Right Time
- Best time: first thing in the morning, before your mind is fully awake (brain is in alpha/theta state).
- Sit quietly, breathe, and listen.
- Optional: also play it during the day for reinforcement.

### Step 5 -- Repeat Daily until Event
- This repetition "wires" new connections in your brain -- like training a muscle.
- At first, it may feel awkward or difficult. That's normal.
- Over time, the effects compound -- like interest in a bank account -- and the change becomes automatic.

Why It Works
- Your brain is like a tree: prune the unhelpful branches (negative patterns) and focus on the right ones, and you'll get more of the fruit you want.
- This tool is self-coaching for your nervous system.

Give it a try. Five minutes each morning. You might be surprised how quickly things shift.
